Australian Revenue Management Association (ARMA) will hold its APAC Revenue Management Summit in person for the first time in two years this May.
The annual summit is taking place in Sydney for the very first time, at Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel from May 24-25.
This ‘must attend’ event for revenue management professionals and commercial teams includes expert sessions, workshops, discussion hubs and popular presenters who will discuss a range of timely topics and offer practical insights for the current environment.
Hosted by ARMA Founding Director, Melissa Kalan, and supported by valued industry and corporate partners, this year’s event aims to unite a cross section of the accommodation industry to improve revenues and profit through education and upskilling.
“Professionals from all sectors of the accommodation and tourism industry stand to benefit from this year’s summit including those from hotels, motels, holiday parks and apartments, from beginner to advanced levels,” Kalan said.
Under the theme “Let’s get on with it!”, the content will explore application of revenue management across air, land, and sea.
Key speakers include Jason Carley, Partner at world-renowned pricing advisory Simon-Kucher & Partners, who will facilitate a session on “Getting Back to Growth”, and SeaLink Marine & Tourism General Manager – Commercial, Mark Bunting, who will share his personal revenue management journey and lessons across three different business models.
Other featured experts include Fraser Marketing International, Founder/Chief Creator and Connector, Emma Fraser; P&O Cruises Australia VP Revenue Management and Deployment, Matthew Rutherford; and Expedia Group General Manager Revenue Performance & Solutions, Vivek Bhogaraju.
Airline Intelligence and Research Founder and CEO, Dr. Tony Webber, will make his return to the summit this year, presenting an expert workshop examining lessons learned from Ryanair’s dramatic seasonal pricing changes and capacity setting strategies.
The Women in RM Panel, which will discuss leading high performance revenue strategy teams, will feature Rachelle Scobie from IHG Hotels and Resorts, Kristy Edwards of BWH Hotel Group Australasia and Georgina Williams of Elanor Investors Group.
