Swissôtel Sydney has completed its second stage of renovations with the recent unveiling of Crossroads Bar, Jpb Restaurant, executive lounge and level nine boardrooms.
“We are very excited and proud to announce the completion of this renovation,” said Swissôtel Sydney General Manager Daniel Fueglister.
“The final products are modern yet functional and we have been receiving fantastic feedback from not only our valued repeat guests but also guests who are staying with us for the first time.”
Crossroads Bar features vibrant blues, purples and oranges pop against the dark wooden floor boards and elegant beige couches. Intimate pods provide exclusive entertaining spaces and an atmosphere of sophistication is evoked with floor to ceiling windows overlooking Market Street allowing natural light to flood the area.
Jpb, the hotel’s signature restaurant, now offers fresh, simple and innovative modern cuisine. A contemporary yet intimate dining venue, Jpb Restaurant boasts a spacious show kitchen and wood-fire pizza oven where our chefs showcase their culinary skills. The restaurant has a spilt level dining area that is enhanced by soft lighting and warm earthy undertones which create a sophisticated dining ambience.
Live cooking stations, organic honey from the hotel’s own honey bees, fresh danishes from Hiestand Swiss Bakery and a range of mouth-watering hot dishes are just some of the options on offer for breakfast.
A gastronomic adventure awaits each diner, with an eclectic range of cuisine available from the a la carte menu. Order from the ‘Ode to Oz’ selection where guests are able to choose your preferred cut of meat, sides and sauces which are cooked to your liking in the open style kitchen.
The hotel’s Swiss Executive Club lounge has been re-located to level nine and revitalised with views of Sydney’s skyline, Hyde Park and St Mary’s Cathedral available for patrons to enjoy. Complete with its own fireplace and library, with books provided by employees of Swissôtel Sydney and Swissôtels around the world, this exclusive and semi-private area has been designed to complement the bar and restaurant below.
Cedar, Karri, Birch and Elm meeting boardrooms complete the renovation to the hotel’s meeting spaces providing contemporary and stylish facilities to local and international business clients. Complete with state of the art technology, including 55-inch or 65-inch flatscreen TVs, each room has been finished with plush carpets and a large fixed dark word boardroom table.
