The company recently appointed Shankar Sreekumar as Head of South and South-East Asia, while Rapeepohn Jamprapai has been appointed Group Director of Finance in South and SEA Region.
Last year, Russell Cool took up the role of Group Director of Operations, Australia; Shellia Chang started her role as Group Director of Sales and Distribution; and Nelsy Zreik was named Group Director of Finance, Australia – all joining Chief Development Officer, Chris Batterham.
The recent hires join La Vie Hotels and Resorts Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Jerry Xu; Managing Director, Craig Bond; and Chief Financial Officer, Priscilla Tran.
“Our dedication starts from the ground up with our people, who showcase passion, commitment and creativity across every element of their roles,” said Xu.
“Our leadership team is one of the best in the industry and combines more than 60 years of international experience, and we are so lucky to be entering into the new year with such a strong group of industry experts in our corner.”
Xu said 2023 will be an exciting year for the business with strong growth predicted.
“We’re excited to be opening The Motley Richmond with our partners Amber Property Group, [this] month, and we have a lot of signing announcements coming up, as well as some big new brand projects which will see us enter new markets and new market segments,” he said.
“It is going to be a great year and I’m excited by the team we have in place and collectively what we can achieve together.”
