ALH-owned Nightcap Hotels has revealed the results of three recent hotel renovations at Pritchard’s Hotel in New South Wales, Atherton Hotel in Queensland, and Hotel Victor in South Australia.
Nightcap at Pritchard’s Hotel, located on the Elizabeth Drive in the Sydney suburb of Mount Pritchard, features newly renovated rooms with a private ensuite, smart TV, and King Koil beds. The hotel also offers a sports bar, bistro and free WiFi throughout.
Nightcap at Atherton Hotel, in the Tablelands Region southeast of Cairns, has reopened its studio rooms and apartments following renovations and a design refresh to reflect the blue and green hues of the natural surrounds. Meanwhile, the newly refurbished Nightcap at Hotel Victor, in South Australia’s seaside destination of Victor Harbor, opened in November, offering a new bistro and bar.
AF Sourcing is responsible for the design and curation of interiors of all three hotels, as well as many others in the portfolio.
AF Sourcing Interior Designer, Erica Richardson, said comfort, convenience and originality were key areas of focus.
“I begin by carefully assessing which original features should be retained and enhanced, and which need to be modernised to meet the needs of today’s ‘plugged in’ guests,” she said.
“From there, I focus on layering in references to key aspects of the local area, which for a property such as Hotel Victor, was centred around its present-day role as a relaxed seaside getaway.
“The risk with modern hotels is that a well-travelled guest may wake up wondering which hotel or even which city they are in as the interiors are often soulless and generic; however, a Nightcap guest can expect to be surprised by a unique and often quirky interior which embodies the vibe of the neighbourhood. With Nightcap Hotels, modern comfort and convenience and localised design go hand-in-hand.”
Owned and operated by ALH Hotels, the hospitality arm of Endeavour Group, Nightcap Hotels’ portfolio now stands at 75 properties.
ALH Hotels’ Head of Accommodation, Brett Salter, said putting travellers’ needs first is the main driver of the company’s success.
“We’ve made it our mission to create a fun and all-encompassing hotel experience where our guests can enjoy the convenience of everything in one place, such as, bars, restaurants and entertainment,” he said.
“Our rooms are designed by travellers for travellers. Thousands of reviews have inspired and informed our convenient pre-check-in service, our Nightcap King Koil beds, USB charging points in the right spots and plenty of them, our signature rain showers, not to mention our unique interior designs that have been tailored to each hotel and destination.”
Nightcap Hotels aims to continue expansion with a goal of growing “well beyond 100 locations”.
