Radisson Hotel Group has appointed Lachlan Hoswell as Managing Director, Australasia.
Hoswell, who brings more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, will be responsible for driving Radisson’s growth in the region.
Hoswell joins from Minor Hotels Australia and New Zealand, where he was Company Director, General Counsel and Commercial Officer. In this role, he led development to grow by over 50% in key hotel markets such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Auckland, and Wellington.
He has also held leadership roles in APVC Holdings Pty Limited, a subsidiary of Accor Hospitality, senior positions at Wyndham Vacation Resorts South Pacific, and Daikyo Australia.
“The appointment of Lachlan is a testament to our commitment to the region and to our owners and investors in Australasia,” said Radisson Hotel Group Chief Development Officer, Asia Pacific, Ramzy Fenianos.
“With his deep industry knowledge and network, we believe that he will be able to help us achieve our in-market goals.”
As Managing Director, Australasia, Hoswell will drive growth of the Group’s portfolio across major towns, cities and upcoming destinations across Australia, lead operations, and be responsible for strategic initiatives in the region.
“It gives me great pleasure to be joining Radisson Hotel Group at such an exciting juncture of the company’s growth,” said Hoswell.
“I look forward to working with the team, our owners and investors to leverage my extensive industry experience to provide the guidance and leadership needed to facilitate the Group’s ambitious expansion plans.”
