TFE Hotels has opened two new Adina hotels in Germany this month as part of its European expansion.
Adina Hotel Dusseldorf and Adina Hotel Stuttgart are both strategically located in business centres and are expected to be popular with corporate and leisure travellers alike.
“The opening of our hotel in Dusseldorf, one of the most important business locations in Germany, is another milestone for Adina’s growth in Europe,” said TFE’s Group Chief Operating Officer, Chris Sedgwick.
“There’s an interesting mix of business and leisure travellers in the region and our style of apartment hotels holds wide appeal to both markets.”
The 201-room Adina Dusseldorf, which opened on March 1, marks the brand’s entry into the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Known as Germany’s fashion and shopping capital, Dusseldorf appeals to leisure travellers who enjoy shopping, art galleries and exhibitions.
The property features studios and apartments, pool and sauna space on the seventh floor, onsite restaurant, open co-working space and additional meeting rooms.
The 169-key Adina Hotel Stuttgart, a mix of studios and apartments, is set to open on March 15 in the new Europaviertel district.
Stuttgart is another important business hub in Germany, and Sedgwick says that this property will be valued by business travellers.
“Adina’s apartment style hotels offer a great balance between independence and comfort,” he said.
“Making them an excellent choice for business travellers and tourists but, importantly, also for those inevitable longer stays.”
“Add in the fact that the city is surrounded by vineyards and offers a wide variety of leisure activities including the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, the Mercedes Benz and Porsche museums and a picturesque old town, and the hotel holds equal appeal to the leisure market.”
The hotel includes a 24-hour reception, restaurant and bar, landscaped outdoor terrace, as well as a wellness area with a gym, pool and sauna.
Adina opened four hotels in Europe last year in Cologne, Munich, Wiesbaden, and Vienna and is set to make its Swiss debut in 2023 with the opening of Adina Geneva.
