Three new franchise properties in Melbourne and Adelaide have been added to the Choice Hotels Asia-Pac network as the company continues its objectives of assisting the recovery of its franchisee members.
In the Victorian capital, the company has added a new member hotel under the Comfort brand in the Comfort Apartments Royal Gardens. Located in the inner-city suburb of Fitzroy, the property features apartment-style accommodation with between one and four bedrooms overlooking the manicured gardens or courtyard.
Separate living and dining spaces and equipped kitchens are also in place to help guests enjoy cooking in their own space. Guests can also make use of a swimming pool.
In Adelaide, a new dual-branded property has also joined the network, operated under a franchise agreement with 1834 Hotels, which also operates the nearby Quality Apartments Adelaide Central and joined the Choice network earlier this year. The new addition operates partly under the Econo Lodge budget brand, with part as the upscale Comfort Hotel Adelaide Meridien.
The property features one and two-bedroom apartments, with guest facilities including a fitness centre and outdoor swimming pool.
Choice Hotels Asia-Pac CEO, Trent Fraser, said he was thrilled to be welcoming such strong additions to the Choice network.
“I commend each of our hoteliers for their perseverance during these challenging times while we continue to navigate and bounce back from rolling lockdowns around the country,” Fraser said.
