Crystalbrook Collection has installed three new General Managers at properties in Queensland and NSW in response to new openings and subsequent vacancies opening up.
Following the recent opening of Crystalbrook Vincent, the brand’s newest property on the banks of the Brisbane River, experienced General Manager Jeremy Nordkamp has taken the reigns to steer the new hotel’s initial performance after its rebrand from The Fantauzzo. Jeremy brings significant experience around Australia to his new role, having held similar positions at The Calile Hotel, Ovolo Laneways and Peppers Docklands.
Nordkamp moves to the role from his most recent posting as General Manager at Crystalbrook Riley in Cairns, which in turn has now been filled by Melissa Shaw.
Shaw joins Crystalbrook Collection from Accor and brings many years of experience leading hotels across Bangkok, Shanghai, Wellington and around Australia, including senior roles at Sofitel Werribee Mansion Hotel and Sofitel Brisbane.
Shifting to Sydney, Crystalbrook has welcomed Emma Alcorn to the role of General Manager at Crystalbrook Albion in the city CBD. Alcorn’s professional pedigree is firmly rooted in the luxury sector, having recently led the private residence division at Makepeace Island in Noosa. She has also held leading roles at Emirates One&Only in the NSW Wolgan Valley, Longitude 131 Resort in Ayers Rock and Spicers Tamarind Retreat and Spa.
Crystalbrook Collection CEO, Geoff York, welcomed the trio to their new roles and said he was looking forward to working alongside each of them.
