The eastern Melbourne suburb of Ringwood now has a new premium hotel to suit the growing local corporate and commercial landscape, with The Sebel Melbourne Ringwood now welcoming guests.
After a 17 month construction, the 103-room Amber Property Group development features a mixture of studio rooms and apartments, of which 15 include a kitchenette. Rooms are fitted with De’Longhi espresso machines, pillow-top beds with Sleepmaker gel-infused memory foam, with Biology Skincare amenities supplied in bathrooms.
Guests can also access The Orchard restaurant and bar, a fitness centre, two meeting spaces fitted with the latest AV technology and an open-air terrace.
General Manager, Andrew Maynard, said despite a short delay in construction due to the COVID pandemic, the resulting job creation has been a positive element provided during the economic downturn.
“Ringwood is becoming an increasingly important commercial corridor and we anticipate that the addition of a premium level of contemporary accommodation will meet increased demand into the area which will have tremendous flow on effects for other local businesses,” Maynard said.
“We are also in incredibly close proximity to the Yarra Valley and we’re confident that having this type of refined and considered accommodation at its fringe will greatly support the wine region’s businesses, including cellar doors and wedding venues.”
The hotel is located a short drive from the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges and is also closely located to numerous shopping facilities, local attractions, transport and wineries.
