Sunshine Coast hinterland retreat, Spicers Clovelly Estate, has opened the doors to Montville House – a new standalone guest house situated on the grounds and decorated in French provincial style.
The new building consists of six individual suites, each featuring a marble tiled ensuite and freestanding limestone bath. The house can be opened up for parties of up to 12 to offer a private retreat to help groups and corporate parties share in a special occasion. The addition of Montville House builds on the 10 suites in the main lodge and adjacent three-bedroom French Cottage, which opened in 2012.
Suites border a central common lounge and library area, which also features an open fireplace, private verandah and landscaped gardens. A dining room also allows parties to arrange a private dinner seating from Spicers’ on-site eatery, The Long Apron Restaurant.
Montville House takes its name from the nearby town which runs along the Blackall Range and offers views over the Sunshine Coast. It is popular with tourists for its art galleries, craft shop and fashion boutiques.
“Montville House’s location in the heart of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland provides guests with an exquisite array of attractions to savour over a weekend or longer,” the property said.
