Guests are now able to book rooms at Veriu Hotels’ fifth Sydney property following the opening this week of Veriu Green Square, on the city’s south-east fringe.
After 15 months of construction, the 144-room and micro-apartment property encourages guests to ‘live smarter’ through ergonomically-designed spaces. Apartments feature a kitchenette, while guest facilities within the hotel also include a fitness centre, lobby lounge bar, meeting rooms and on-site Italian restaurant Freddie Green’s, which is operated independently. The hotel sits close to Green Square railway station, with the CBD two stops away.
Veriu Group CEO, Zed Sanjana, said he was delighted to be able to offer guests access to another property in the Sydney CBD basin.
“The opening of Veriu Green Square strengthens our footing into the micro-apartment hotel space; using clever and innovative design, our apartments can offer our guests great versatility with spaces for sleeping, sitting, a kitchenette and shelving for storage, surpassing the traditional hotel room in terms of flexibility and making it the perfect accommodation option for our core target, the short and long stay corporate traveller.”
The newest Veriu joins the Sydney stable which comprises hotels in inner-city locations Camperdown, Broadway, Randwick and Central Sydney. The brand is in the midst of a significant growth phase, with two locations in Victoria confirmed in Collingwood and Queen Victoria Market under construction and due to open from 2022.
