Minor Hotels has announced the appointment of Craig Hooley as the new Chief Operating Officer of the Oaks and Avani portfolios.
In his capacity as COO, Hooley – who started in the role on April 30 – will spear-heard Oaks and AVANI’s corporate and commercial operations in its key markets of Australia and New Zealand, where it currently has a portfolio of over 50 properties.
Commenting on the appointment, Minor Hotels’ CEO, Dillip Rajakarier, said Hooley was a “respected leader with global experience acquired by working with some of the world’s leading hotel and hospitality brands”.
“Craig will play a major part in the brands’ ongoing success as the business continues to flourish and develop into one of the leading and largest accommodation providers in the Australian and new Zealand region,” he said.
Hooley will be based in Minor Hotels’ regional office in Maroochydore on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
