The head of Starwood’s Australian operations, Sean Hunt, has called for unification between the accommodation industry’s associations as both the AAA and TAA continue to divide the nation’s hotel sector.
Speaking exclusively to HM on camera, Hunt, Starwood’s Regional Vice President for the Pacific, said the hotel industry “needs to get behind one body, have one voice, one vision and move forward together”.
He said unification would be a better means to lobby governments on both state and federal levels.
