Air Pacific is adding an extra six flights per week from Sydney to Nadi from Monday (Jan 15), almost doubling the airline’s current offering and introducing a new, convenient schedule.
Under the new schedule, Air Pacific will offer a 6:30am Sydney departure (arriving into Nadi at 12:25pm) from Tuesday to Sunday in addition to the existing daily Sydney flights, which depart at 12:55pm and land at 6:45pm in Nadi.
On the return legs, Air Pacific will operate a daily 9am Nadi departure (arriving into Sydney at 11:25am) alongside a new 6:30pm Nadi departure (arriving at 9:05pm) that will operate every day except Sunday.
The new schedule will mean Air Pacific will now be able to connect to helicopter and boat transfers to Fiji’s outer-islands and resorts rather than having to overnight in Nadi under the old schedule.
At the same time as the Sydney changes, Air Pacific has also announced that it will upgrade Nadi-Hong Kong services to Boeing 747-400 aircraft and operate them on a twice-weekly schedule.
According to Air Pacific, the “22% increase in seats on this route will undoubtedly have a positive effect on Fijian tourism”.
