Stamford Plaza Melbourne has commenced construction on 26 brand new guest suites that will incorporate contemporary interior design and the latest in amenities.
The AUD$2.3 million development project will see rooms added to the East Tower facade of Little Collins Street, bringing the total accommodation offering to 309 rooms.
“Stamford Plaza Melbourne’s desire for excellence is captured in these new look rooms delivering custom interiors that are modern and fresh with natural tones, creating an inviting ambience,” said Adam Hamilton, General Manager of Stamford Plaza Melbourne.
“From material choice to furnishing styles, the aesthetics will please guests with an eye for quality.”
Features include, but are not limited to, elegant and inviting bathrooms with a large walk in shower, spacious wardrobes, 40 inch TVs, Queen Size beds, work desks, tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar.
“Enhancing the comfort and sophistication of our suites will further strengthen the hotel’s position as one of Melbourne’s leading five-star hotels. Emphasis is also placed on personalised service with staff dedicated to exceeding guest’s expectations.” Hamilton said.
With an unrivalled location within Melbourne’s CBD, guests can enjoy 24-hour reception, concierge, room service and valet parking, along with an array of facilities including a rooftop pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and gym, conference facilities and an on-site restaurant and bar.
Stamford Plaza Melbourne will remain open for the duration of the construction and all design transformation works will be carried out with the greatest care to ensure that guests are not disrupted.
The program is scheduled for completion in late 2016.
