Accor has revealed that Mercure Warragul, a new build, 48-room hotel has joined the network under a franchise agreement and is ready to take bookings from 24 August 2015.
Ideally located in the centre of Warragul’s CBD, guests of the hotel will enjoy direct access to the new build shopping precinct which surrounds the Mercure which will be abuzz with restaurants and shops, while the West Gippsland Arts and Entertainment Centre is also accessible through the centre.
All of the contemporary, fully serviced guestrooms come with complimentary WiFi, and hotel facilities include a state-of-the-art gymnasium, restaurant, lounge and multipurpose function rooms which can cater for groups of up to 60 people.
Rates at Mercure Warragul will start from AUD$150 per night.
Down south, Hotel Launceston in Tasmania has rebranded to Mercure Launceston, complementing AccorHotels other Tasmanian property, The Sebel Launceston.
Located within the CBD and overlooking City Park, Mercure Launceston will open with 41 guestrooms, a restaurant, bar and a newly refurbished multi-functional conference room.
Mercure Launceston will be taking bookings from 27 August 2015 and rates will start from AUD$120 per night.
Accor has also revealed Monte Pio Hotel in Maitland will join the AccorHotels network in September 2015, at which time it will rebrand to Mercure Maitland Monte Pio.
The 47-room hotel which will operate under a franchise agreement and has a restaurant and bar, four function rooms and a swimming pool and is located in the close to the centre of town.
The joining of this historic property will take AccorHotels reach in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley catchment to nine hotels, making it the largest hotel operator in the region.
