EXCLUSIVE BY JAMES WILKINSON
Cathay Pacific’s new Business Class is set to feature on the airline’s services to Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne and Perth in 2012, following a successful launch on Sydney flights.
Speaking exclusively to HM on camera at the airline’s Sydney offices yesterday (Sep 20), Cathay Pacific’s Sales and Marketing Manager for Australia, Derek Morris, said the new Business Class seats were currently featured on the majority of flights to and from the Harbour city and the feedback so far had been very positive.
Morris also said despite travel demand increasing, the trend of last minute conference and incentive bookings to medium- and long-haul international destinations is showing no signs of abating.
He said while the outbound MICE market remained strong, a number of bookings would still trickle in close to departure.
Morris revealed Cathay Pacific’s new Premium Economy was also set to feature on flights to Australian destinations from the second quarter of 2012.
