Crown Perth staff have once again shown how generous and community minded they are by supporting the annual St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal to assist Western Australian children and families in need this festive season.
The staff team shows great empathy every year by donating gifts, toys, clothing, Christmas puddings and non-perishable food items, which will be collected tomorrow (Dec 19) for distribution in time for Christmas Day.
Crown Perth also makes an annual donation of food hampers to the Appeal, packed full of Christmas goodies.
Crown Resorts Chief Executive Officer, Barry Felstead, said that Crown Perth has an important long-term partnership with the St Vincent de Paul Society.
“The Vinnies Christmas Appeal is a key initiative on our community calendar every year and I am tremendously proud of the staff contribution towards this appeal,” he said.
“The Vinnies team work tirelessly to provide assistance to those in need all year round, and we are honoured to stand by and support such a valued and respected charity organization.”
St Vincent de Paul Society’s spokesperson, Lucinda Ardagh, said the gifts couldn’t come at a better time.
“This has been a particularly tough year for the community with more people than ever coming to Vinnies for assistance,” she said.
“Once again through the generosity of Crown Perth and their kind donation of hampers and toys we know that many in the community will be able to share in the spirit of Christmas this year.
“Thank you to all the team at Crown Perth for once again sharing the joy of Christmas with people in need in our community,” she said.
