AHL has taken over the Quay West Falls Creek Resort and Spa in Victoria and re-branded the 63-apartment ski-in, ski-out complex under the group’s hip QT brand.
The property, which was formerly managed by Mirvac and Accor, is now known as QT Falls Creek Resort.
The largest in the Victorian ski fields, the resort sits at the base of the popular year-round mountain and AHL Group Managing Director David Seargeant said it would be given the “QT designer touch”.
“With very distinctive design this luxury 63 apartment complex represented the ideal opportunity to bring the QT Resort brand to Falls Creek and will join the newly launched QT Resorts in Port Douglas the Gold Coast and our flagship QT Hotel Sydney,” he said.
“The QT brand is part of a global trend of design led lifestyle Hotels that provide high energy innovative restaurants and bars in a boutique highly stylised design and we look forward to bringing this experience to Falls Creek in time for this winter season.”
QT Falls Creek Resort features one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments with offer with modern interiors, under floor heating, open plan living areas, a European laundry and drying cupboard, and hot tubs on most apartment balconies.
Renowned hotel designer Nic Graham leads the charge of redesigning the resort to imprint the unique designer style that is now synonymous with the QT brand.
The redesign will feature QT Hotels and Resorts’ signature interactive marketplace Bazaar, the hip cocktail bar Stingray Lounge and offering unique ski-inspired spa experiences at spaQ.
QT Falls Creek Resort will be officially launched in June 2013.
