It has been three-and-a-half years since Hilton debuted the 54-floor, 562-suite Conrad New York Midtown hotel and as the Big Apple has roared back to life, the property has never been more popular.
The Conrad New York Midtown is one of the city’s only residential-style hotels and following a major renovation in 2019, it has an interior akin to luxurious Manhattan homes rather than classic hotel rooms.
Major highlights of the hotel are the penthouse, a two-story, two-bedroom suite which features wrap-around views of Central Park and Manhattan, a fireplace and an interior inspired by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), and Dabble, an impressive new signature dining and cocktail destination.
To find out more about the all-suite hotel, HM Editor-In-Chief and Wayfarer host, James Gregory Wilkinson, spoke exclusively to Conrad New York Midtown General Manager, Boris Guerov.

With separate sleeping and living areas, including a dedicated table or workspace, the hotel’s expansive suites serve as our guests’ home away from home. Amazing views of skyscrapers, Central Park and the Hudson River are on display from each of our 54 floors.
Tell us about the fantastic food and beverage on offer.
Our lobby level restaurant, Dabble, has an elegant bar where the mixology team crafts classic and specialty cocktails for any occasion. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Dabble’s chefs create choices for every palate. The in-house sommelier assists guests with perfect wine pairings before topping off their evening with a decadent dessert.
What’s your x-factor at the hotel?
The hotel’s showstopper suite, the Atrium, has a separate bedroom and a living room with stunning glass windows on three walls and the ceiling definitely has the x-factor. But even that is outdone by our 2-story, 2-bedroom Penthouse with marble baths, fireplace, full dining area and views that take your breath away. Our entry level suites start at a spacious 700 square feet.
Favorite things to do in the area, like exploring Central Park and catching a show?
Of course, since we are just a few blocks away, Central Park is a must-see and a break from the hustle and bustle of New York City. Also within a short walking distance are all the iconic arts and theatre venues, so guests can pack in a Broadway show, an exhibit at the MoMa and all the shops on 5th Avenue.
