The ITB Berlin trade show made a spectacular comeback in Europe this week as thousands descended on Germany’s coolest city for the world’s leading tourism show, which attracted 160,000 delegates and 5,500 exhibitors from 161 countries, and much of the attention was on the event’s airline exhibitors, including United, which is continuing to record phenomenal growth.
United has been creating global headlines of late thanks to its record widebody order for over 200 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, commitments to both supersonic Boom aircraft and sustainable propeller planes, its focus on developing and promoting Sustainable Aviation Fuel, growing its global network and rolling-out fantastic new lounges across the United States.
Leading the United Airlines delegation was the carrier’s Senior VP of Worldwide Sales, Doreen Burse, who exclusively spoke on camera to HM Editor-In-Chief James Wilkinson about the latest at the carrier, including the new partnership with Virgin Australia.
