Melbourne welcomes its latest boutique lifestyle hotel this Monday February 13 with the opening of The Motley Hotel in Richmond.
With 80 rooms across eight levels, designed by interior design studio CHADA, the five-star hotel reflects its arty, eclectic surrounds and pays tribute to the building’s former occupant, local seamstress and costumier, Mary Parker, in the design.
Developed by Amber Property Group and managed by La Vie Hotels & Resorts, the hotel adds to the revitalisation of Bridge Road.
“We are incredibly proud to be creating new jobs within our community and further supporting local industry and trade through our partnerships,” said Hotel General Manager Jeremy Nordkamp.
“The Motley delivers a new level of sophistication to Richmond, without compromising Melbourne’s eclectic and authentic feel, by creating a destination for both travellers and Richmond residents to gather, unwind and enjoy a hyper local dining experience.
“We look forward to further connecting and collaborating with our neighbours to showcase the very best of Melbourne’s inner city.”
The hotel also features a ground floor cafe and fine dining restaurant, Ms Parker.
