Radisson Hotel Group is pinning its hopes on the return of leisure travel as borders continue to open, with a host of new properties across its luxury lifestyle and resorts portfolios.
More than nine hotels will be added to the lifestyle resort portfolio, including the opening of Radisson Resort Dubai Palm Jumeirah and Radisson Blu Resort, Hoi An. This portfolio added around 20 new signings last year and now includes over 100 properties.
The Group will also invest further in its luxury lifestyle brand Radisson Collection which, after much growth in 2021, now includes over 45 hotels in operation and under development.
In 2022, there will be Radisson Collection openings in Germany, Sri Lanka and Spain. Radisson Collection Hotel, Berlin has recently been renovated and will open in what the company says is an “unparalleled location” in Berlin-Mitte, Mansard Riyadh. Meanwhile, Galle will welcome a resort with the signature Parisian Haussmann style of the mid 1800s.
Additionally, the Group’s conversion brand, Radisson Individuals, will welcome more than 13 new properties this year across Russia, UK, India, Belgrade, Athens, Paris, and Istanbul.
Radisson Hotel Group Global Chief Development Officer, Elie Younes, said that 2021 was an exciting but challenging year.
“The context triggered us to innovate which resulted in more possibilities and opportunities,” Younes said.
“We look forward to creating more growth in 2022. A heartfelt thank you to our owners, colleagues, investors, shareholders, and guests who have continued to support us throughout the journey so far.”
