Guests are now being welcomed to Fable Christchurch after the boutique hotel brand opened the doors to its new presence in the South Island city.
Announced last month, the opening of the new Fable Hotels and Resorts location doubles the growing brand’s presence on New Zealand’s South Island, adding to its debut presence in Dunedin.
The 171-room hotel rebranded from its former guise as Rendezvous Hotel Christchurch and is situated among some of the city’s best shopping, dining and recreational attractions. It is by far the brand’s largest hotel by room count and marks a new chapter for the CPG Hotels label.
A soft refurbishment as part of the property’s rebranding has been completed, with work now underway on a more significant transformation, due for completion in May, to apply the brand’s hallmarks and a new look to guest facilities including an all-day restaurant to be overseen by Executive Chef, Jinu Abraham.
The new hotel will be led by experienced General Manager, Faisal Sayed, who brings many years of experience managing hotels in both Australia and New Zealand.
CPG Group Operations Manager, Ronnie Ronalde, said he is excited to show off the unique Fable guest experience and can’t wait to welcome guests to experience the property.
“It’s wonderful to be introducing the Fable experience to yet another location in the South Island, and we know guests will instantly feel the elevated sense of luxury, exceptional service, iconic dining and design-lead environment as we roll out our transformation of this property over the next few months,” Ronalde said.
