Members of Accor Live Limitless (ALL) loyalty program and Qantas Frequent Flyer members can now earn points twice on eligible flights and stays, with the expanded partnership between the two travel giants taking to the skies today.
On the ground, members can earn three Qantas Points per dollar spent on top of the usual earn rate per stay depending on status in Accor’s ALL program across 1,200 hotels both in Australia and across the Asia-Pacific region. The same earn rate applies on purchases made within the hotel including dining and room service.
Similarly in the air, members who hold Qantas Platinum or Platinum One and Accor Gold, Platinum and Diamond status can earn two ALL Reward points per AUD$10 spent on eligible Qantas flights on top of the normal Qantas points earn rate.
To be eligible to earn points across both programs, members must link their accounts to ensure ALL points are earned on Qantas flights and Qantas points are earned on Accor hotel stays. The partnership is the first in Australia of its kind between an airline and a hospitality group in the Asia-Pacific region.
Further benefits for members will enable Gold Qantas Frequent Flyer members can fast track their ALL membership from Classic to Silver when linking their accounts and completing eligible hotel stays. Conversely, Accor ALL members at the Gold level or higher can redeem a complimentary Qantas Premium Wine membership, earn three points per dollar spent and enjoy free delivery on all orders in Australia.
Accor Pacific CEO, Simon McGrath, said the partnership aimed to reward customers who enjoy flying with and staying with the two companies.
“Customers are at the heart of this partnership which is set to bring significant extended benefits for travellers,” McGrath said.
“Qantas is the perfect partner for Accor to deepen our relationship with and growing our loyalty members’ benefits will strengthen our customers’ commitment to our leading brands, like Sofitel, Mantra and Novotel. We predict that this relationship will increase membership and engagement across both of our programs.”
Qantas Loyalty CEO, Olivia Wirth, said the partnership was a significant announcement as Australians begin to travel once again.
“We’ve seen frequent flyers booking flights in record numbers, with billions of points used to book flights in recent weeks,” Wirth said.
“This shows just how important and valuable points are to our members, and this initiative will help members of both programs get away on their dream trip sooner.”
