TFE Hotels’ new A by Adina hotel living concept last night showed what it was capable of in redefining the premium hotel landscape by hosting an elegant grand opening high atop the Sydney CBD.
Following its soft opening last month, the new brand officially kicked off its ride in Sydney, living up to the expectations put forward by the ‘hotel living’ concept it proudly endorses.
Held in the property’s shiny new Sky Lobby and 1950s-inspired cocktail bar, Dean and Nancy on 22, the evening showcased some of the amazing mixology talents at its disposal, based on expertise from award-winning venue, Maybe Sammy. The Sky Lobby is perched 100 metres above George Street.
The new hotel marks what TFE Hotels describes as “the crowning glory of an ‘elevated’ suite of apartment hotel properties”. It features Australia’s first Sky Lobby which is perched 100 metres above street level and encased on the building’s exterior by a golden crown.
A by Adina’s new flagship offering in the Sydney CBD features 194 apartments, made up of 82 studios, 104 one-bedroom offerings and eight two-bedroom units. A number of the one-bedroom apartments include blackout bedrooms, which don’t offer windows, and allow guests to maximise their sleep without distractions.
In a first for the company, A by Adina Sydney features an integrated room control system which keeps rooms dormant, dark and in an energy-saving mode until guests begin their check-in process, at which point the room comes to life.
“A by Adina is a brand for a confident traveller who enjoys incredible design, quality finishes and authentic and personalised hospitality,” said General Manager, Amanda Cottome.
TFE Hotels Chairman, Allan Vidor, says A by Adina takes the sense of arrival to a new level.
“What really excites me is that A by Adina Sydney, which sits on the corner of two iconic streets (George and Hunter Streets), activates laneway networks that feed into the back of Australia Square,” he said.
