Australia will welcome back the Next Hotels label from next month when the brand’s new flagship hotel opens in Melbourne, with a confirmed launch date of 1 March now in the calendar.
Next Hotel Melbourne will make its debut, located within the newbuild 24-storey ’80 Collins’ mixed-use development which will also feature office space and a number of new restaurants, bars and boutique retail options.
Accessible from Little Collins Street, the 255-room hotel will feature a number of new food and beverage concepts headed by Melbourne-based chefs, Daniel Natoli and Adrian Li. Anchor restaurant, La Madonna, will feature local produce and regularly changing menus upon its opening from late March. The eatery will also include the ground-floor ‘Ingresso by La Madonna’ café and cocktail bar which will offer a range of drinks and grab-and-go style bites.
The hotel will also offer The Barrel Room cocktail bar which will showcase a wood ageing program for spirits, cocktails and herbal liquors. A co-working style club will offer spaces for solo and collaborative activities, including board meetings or casual gatherings. A fitness centre will also offer personal trainers on-call and the latest workout equipment.
Rooms will be fitted out with Hunter Lab amenities, Dyson hairdryers and straighteners, espresso coffee machines, cocktail mixing stations and a new way to enjoy in-room dining, which is yet to be revealed.
