One of Australia’s largest penthouse accommodations has been opened at Brisbane’s Emporium Hotel South Bank, featuring 270-degree wrap-around views of the CBD, river and parklands.
The new Parklands Suite at the five-star property features four bedrooms, three bathrooms, three separate dining areas, two lounge rooms, a private entrance and elevator and baby grand piano among the luxury furnishings guests of the exclusive suite can enjoy.
Further, a private 15-metre infinity swimming pool and access to the hotel’s Maserati for day trips within the city are also on offer to guests.
The master bedroom includes its own terrace and private entrance to the room’s pool, the hotel describes the room as a “suite within a suite”. The Parklands Suite features a King bed in the Master Bedroom along with two Queen bedrooms with shared ensuite and a double bedroom.
Emporium Hotel South Bank General Manager, John McIlwain, said he was thrilled to be able to add the Parklands Suite to the hotel’s offerings.
“This landmark suite will cater to guests wanting ultra-exclusive and low key glamour accommodation and showcase our commitment to delivering a sophisticated travelling and living experience in the heart of Brisbane,” he said.
Minimalist but indulgent, the suite is complemented by a large, bright and generous living space designed around a 1.5m open gas fireplace and bar, with two Vintec wine fridges curated by the hotel’s Sommelier including a Remy Martin Louis 13. There’s also dining for 10 guests inside or outside and a full chef’s kitchen.
The kitchen and dining areas cater for those staying for longer durations who prefer to dine in. A full sized commercial chef’s kitchen boasts a custom island, sub-zero fridge, butler’s pantry and appliances by Gaggenau, with the option of having meals from a boutique outdoor barbecue experience, à la carte or degustation prepared by a private chef.
The latest wireless technology has been seamlessly installed throughout the penthouse to ensure a sound system that flows to every room, with independent ‘zones’ allowing guests to have different playlists playing simultaneously. The suite’s audio-visual, lighting and electronic blinds can be adjusted with a touch of an iPad, while Chromecast allows them to access all their favourite streaming services.
