Quest Apartment Hotels has become the largest single accommodation brand represented in Western Australia, following the opening of its newest property in the Perth suburb of Ascot.
Led by General Manager, Annabell Javinez, the newly opened Quest property is the company’s 15th location in Western Australia and sits around 3kms from Perth Airport. The 112-room property was developed by M/Group and offers a combination of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.
Room Service powered by Deliveroo, pantry shopping, restaurant charge-back, a Grab-and-Go self-service bar and hourly airport shuttle will be among the services offered by Quest Perth Ascot.
Honouring the site’s proximity to nearby Ascot Racecourse, the new Quest hotel will feature a four-metre high galvanised steel sculptural artwork installation by local artist, Peter McMeikan, entitled ‘The Racer’, which will celebrate the area’s racing culture.
Western Australia Tourism Minister, Paul Papalia, said the recent boom in intra-state travel has provided some great opportunities for hotels in the current economic climate.
“Quest Ascot adds yet another option to Perth’s impressive suite of hotels, with intrastate business travellers, regional residents visiting family and friends and locals looking for a weekend getaway to benefit from this new offering.”
Quest General Manager of Growth and Capital Strategy, James Shields, said the location milestone was an outstanding achievement for the company, with the new property having already secured many corporate room nights for the coming year, primarily among the mining, retail and aviation sectors.
“As it stands, there is a spread of small-medium sized businesses, in some cases requiring long-term accommodation, or conference and meeting space facilities,” Shields said.
“We see clear opportunity in the intrastate segment over the coming months, where business travel continues to be in demand.”
