Australia’s first in-stadium hotel has plugged itself into the distribution network of Event Hospitality & Entertainment Limited which will see sales, marketing and loyalty services provided to the boutique property.
The 138-room hotel will retain its own branding and not become part of the Rydges, QT or Atura labels, instead being supported as an affiliate while gaining access to the expertise of Event Hospitality’s established international network of marketing platforms.
The hotel will feature two wings located either side of the East Gate, wrapping around the eastern façade of the stadium. The wings will be linked with an elevated foyer and lounge area, with views out to the parklands and city skyline in the distance. F&B offerings will include the Hill of Grace fine dining restaurant along with Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen.
Opting to proceed with its planned opening in September, the property will also participate in the Priority Guest Rewards loyalty scheme, with members able to earn and burn points on qualifying stays at the property.
Event Hospitality Director of Hotels and Resorts, Norman Arundel, said the company was excited to integrate The Oval Hotel within its network.
“Oval Hotel is set to be a wonderful asset located at Adelaide Oval and enhance the broader South Australian tourism industry,” he said.
“We look forward to working together with the team on the go-to market strategy and becoming an integral part of the success of the Oval Hotel when it opens.”
Oval Hotel General Manager, Bodelle Francis, said the hotel was confident that the engagement with Event Hospitality will provide strong market reach through its alignment with other strong brands.
“We recognise the importance of calling on shared local and national expertise to deliver on our vision, for what is set to be an iconic Australian property,” she said.
“As we work to establish Oval Hotel as one of Australia’s premier boutique hotels, we are confident that our engagement with Event will deliver us a strong market reach and will align us with a network of other leading independent hotel brands.”
