Expectations are high that the opening of Quest Robina will coincide with a gradual kickstart and return to life for the wider Gold Coast corporate and leisure sector, the company said, with the property opening to guests this week.
The newest addition to the Quest network was developed by Pellicano and consists of 80 serviced accommodations across eight floors, ranging in size from studio to two-bedrooms and each featuring the brand’s new-look apartment design and features. The property is situated near Robina railway station, next door to Robina hospital and near local shopping and transport links to Brisbane.
Guest facilities include a lap swimming pool, fitness centre along with conference and business facilities. Experienced Quest franchisees, Josh and Fleur Nadzielski, will open and run the property, having recently relocated to the Glitter Strip from their previous roles running Quest Griffith in regional NSW.
Quest Chief Operating Officer, David Mansfield, said with signs that domestic travel could be on the way back up, the property will be well-placed to make the most of strong corporate interest in an area continuing to boom with more than $600 million in new business, commercial and economic interests setting up nearby.
Franchisee John Nadzielski added: “We have already secured long-term bookings of three months plus for business professionals later in the year and are also taking bookings from leisure travellers locking in their winter getaways in the Sunshine State.”
