A total of 144 new keys have been added to the inventory at Nesuto Stadium Apartment Hotel Auckland following the subdivision of two-bedroom apartments into smaller accommodations, with the property unveiling the results this week.
The renovation has seen the property’s 72 two-bedroom apartments converted into a mixture of hotel rooms, studio and one-bedroom apartments, with a small number of two-bedroom keys left untouched to suit larger groups and families.
The NZ$13 million project included significant upgrades to public and other guest facilities including a refurbished lobby, a new ‘Nook’ bar and restaurant offering indoor and outdoor dining as well as the installation of a significantly upgraded high-speed WiFi system.
Nesuto Daiwa Group CEO, Mark Ronfeldt, said Auckland has been bolstering its presence as the country’s major events, corporate and leisure tourism destination.
“With Nesuto Stadium’s excellent location just minutes away from Britomart, Princess Wharf, Spark Arena, Viaduct Harbour and the Auckland Waterfront, the apartment hotel is perfectly positioned to capitalise on these growing visitor numbers,” he said.
