Final touches are being placed on guest rooms and public facilities at DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs as part of a major $6 million renovation and reimagining of the outback property.
Works have included the installation of new furniture and a new paint scheme to create a more inviting yet more intimate setting for guests to relax and unwind in comfortable surroundings. The project began in November 2019 with the first stages of reopening expected to begin from later this month. Public facilities have been upgraded with new landscaping and repainted undercover areas around the swimming pool.
The hotel is located around 15kms from Alice Springs Airport and offers views over the MacDonnell Ranges. Guest facilities include a restaurant serving modern Australian cuisine, fitness centre, tennis courts and heated swimming pool overlooking the newly landscaped gardens.
DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs Hotel Manager, Giorgio Romein, said the hotel team were very excited about soon having a refreshed product offering for guests.
“This is part of our continued commitment to enhance our property and service, raising the comfort and sophistication of our rooms and suites to further strengthen the hotel’s position as one of Alice Springs’ leading destinations.
“This upgrade also provides a new benchmark for comfortable, state-of-the-art accommodations that today’s frequent travellers deserve,” Romein added.
