Boutique Melbourne hotel, Zagame’s House, has introduced a new ‘Maitre Z’ customer service role aimed at providing a range of personal assistant services to guests.
Billed as a hybrid role combining the duties of Concierge, Host and Maitre D, the new position offers bespoke services to guests including personal yoga lessons, chauffeuring and even dog walking. Services can be booked as needed for a minimum of three hours at $60 per hour and comes as the property prepares to launch its in-house yoga and Zumba classes from later this month.
Tasked as the property’s launch maiden Maitre Z is Daniel Gamba, who joins from his Concierge role at Ovolo Hotels in Sydney. Prior to that, he worked as a Managing Supervisor at The Leichhardt Hotel in Sydney following relocation from his native Italy.
Zagame’s House has also introduced a new check-in menu from which guests can select the type of service experience they are looking for. Options include ‘The Quickie’ for guests eager to get in and get out, while returning guests who know the process can pick ‘Déjà vu’. For first-time guests, the full tour and check-in experience is available via ‘The Grand Tour’ option.
