Quest Apartment Hotels will continue on its rapid ascent in New Zealand, outlining a further six properties have been signed and will open over the next 18 months.
The new openings will see serviced apartment franchises arrive in Palmerston North (41 apartments), Hastings (35 apartments), Cambridge (85 apartments), Takapuna (51 apartments), Mount Maunganui (40 apartments) and Mt Eden in Auckland (capacity not yet finalised). Three of the six properties will be open by the end of 2020, with the following three all operating by the middle of 2021.
Cambridge and Mt Eden openings will see the Quest network expand to 12 outlets in Auckland and three in Christchurch alongside Quest Christchurch and Quest on Manchester.
Each property will adhere to the company’s brand hallmarks and standards, focusing on corporate travel and featuring full kitchens and kitchenettes, laundry facilities, business centres, chargeback facility for local restaurants, pantry shopping service and valet dry cleaning.
Quest NZ Chief Executive Officer, Stephen Mansfield, said the company was proud to be the leading apartment hotel provider in every region in which it operates.
“it is the quality of stakeholder relationships that the organisation has established within the New Zealand market place, that is its real underlying value, relationships with its customer companies and community both at a national and local level, iconic travel organisations such as Air New Zealand, the landlords and of course its franchisees of each of its locations.”
