Owner-operator hotel brand Facimiliate Hotels has moved into the FIFO (Fly In Fly Out) market, acquiring its latest property in the regional Western Australia town of Newman.
The company’s investor base has signed to purchase its seventh property in the 89-room Seasons Hotel Newman, located around 1,000kms north of Perth along the Great Northern Highway. The purchase is aimed at stimulating the town’s mining economy further and boosting leisure visitation as the nearest township to the Karajini National Park.
The sale was negotiated by CBRE Hotels on behalf of former owner Stephen Grace. Guest facilities include an all-day restaurant and bar, outdoor swimming pool, conference facilities and guest car parking.
Facilimate Hotels Managing Director, Stephen Lauder, said the company was excited at the opportunity to engage with Newman locals as well as corporate and leisure visitors to the region.
“Securing attractively priced hotels in key cities and regions with strong demand for corporate and leisure travel allows our team to execute our distinctive refurbishment and centralised sales, marketing and revenue strategy.
“Each hotel is then reintroduced to the market in a favourable position for the benefit of our guests and investors.”
“Facilimate’s purchase of the Seasons Hotel is a fantastic investment into the Northwest of WA which is set to benefit greatly with a rebounding resources sector,” added CBRE Hotels’ Chloe Mason.
