Accor’s soon-to-open Art Series hotel in Perth will feature the second Hyde restaurant and entertainment venue, the hotel giant has confirmed, as part of the company’s collaboration with sbe Entertainment.
Hyde Perth Kitchen + Cocktails will feature an outdoor swimming pool, sun loungers and a DJ deck and despite being located within a hotel, will be positioned as a standalone venue capable of headlining the resurgence of Perth as a leading destination.
The interior of Hyde Perth Kitchen comes from designer Carlie Milosevic, who designed the interior of Hacienda Bar at the Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour and has opted for an urban, classy establishment at the brand’s WA debut.
Drawing on the jazz age of the 1920’s, the venue will feature an island bar with bi-folding doors opening out to the pool. A variety of seating options will be dotted around the bar, with a private seating area also available for groups seeking a more intimate experience.
Accor Chief Operating Officer, Pacific – Simon McGrath – said the success of the Hyde brand’s debut on the Gold Coast earlier this year led to plans accelerating for a second Australian venue. He added the new Hyde will take Perth’s bar scene to heights never seen before.
“It won’t be like anything else in Perth and is destined to become a favourite for Perth locals, due to its unique offering and central Hay Street location, as well as domestic and international visitors to the city.”
Sbe Entertainment Founder, Sam Nazarian, added: “This second opening is part of our international strategy to expand our hotel, residential, culinary and entertainment brands across the globe in collaboration with Accor.”
