Boutique hotel brand Lancemore has recruited Luke Moran as its new Chief Operating Officer as the group continues to add strength to its core leadership team.
Moran moves to Lancemore after a decade with Mantra Group, where he served most recently as Executive Director of Sales, Marketing, Revenue and Distribution. Further positions on his CV include senior operational roles with Langham, Sheraton and Hayman Island.
The addition of Moran bolsters an executive team led by CEO Julian Clark and including Group Director, Development, Andrew Turner; Group Director, Finance, Marissa Zhang; Group Director, Sales and Marketing, Chantelle Veness and Group Revenue Manager, Kieun Ko.
Speaking of the appointment, Clark expressed his delight at having secured his new COO charge.
I believe that senior talent is fundamental to the success of any business and we have managed to assemble a top tier Executive team. Indeed, Lancemore is proud to have senior industry leaders across all Executive roles and have become something of a destination for senior talent that want to grow our company into a significant regional player and continue to elevate our award winning brand.”
Moran said he was honoured to be joining an organisation with strong values and a commitment to managing best-in-class boutique hotels.
“The opportunity to lead a high quality team and apply my experience over the past 28 years within senior operational and commercial roles, provides a rare chance to be part of something unique.”
