Five major changes have been made to the organisational structure of specialist accommodation real estate sales agency ResortBrokers, with a second-generation taking charge as Managing Director.
Trudy Crooks has stepped up from National Sales Manager into the MD role, taking the reins from her father and company founder, Ian Crooks, who becomes the company’s Chairman. In addition, three newly created directorial roles have been filled by Tim Crooks (also current Director of New Developments and Hotels) and husband-wife team Alex Cook and Carla Cook (incumbent Director of Marketing and Strategy).
Brisbane-based ResortBrokers was founded by Ian Crooks in 1985 and was the first real estate organisation to focus its property sales arm solely on resort accommodation. The company now employs more than 40 accommodation industry specialists in every state and territory across Australia working in on-plan and off-plan management rights.
Speaking of the new structure, the elder Crooks said the upscaling of the business over the last decade was best reflected by the new roles and responsibilities undertaken by Trudy, Tim, Alex and Carla.
“They’re all part of a second generation that has made its mark, taking the whole ResortBrokers team to new levels of operation and success.”
In addition to the senior executive structure, senior mentoring and training responsibilities have been given to three of ResortBrokers’ longest-serving specialists in Glenn Millar, Russell Rogers and Len Booth.
