Portland Sheraton at Sable Oaks in the northeast US state of Maine has become the first hotel worldwide to operate under the newly designed Sheraton logo.
Formerly known as the Portland Marriott, the new logo comes following a $30 million renovation and redesign of all 226 rooms and suites under the reinvented Sheraton brand, which radiates a sense of community interaction, energy and entertainment.
The hotel has also become the first to offer Sheraton’s new 24slides professional presentation and design service for business travellers to be better connected while staying at the hotel. Guests can make use of a design team with a 40 per cent discount on services and a 24-hour turnaround time on select services. The 24slides service will gradually be rolled out to Sheraton hotels globally.
Sheraton’s new logo will gradually make its way to properties in Mexico, Dubai and China before eventually being applied at Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park among the brand’s other hotels in Australia.
“The hotel embodies our vision for Sheraton, which centres around being the gathering place for our guests and local community members alike,” said Sheraton Vice-President and Global Brand Leader, Indy Adenaw.
“The speed of the global roll out of the logo is a testament to the excitement and enthusiasm of our owners who are supportive of the transformation and our associates who are eager to bring the new experience to life.”
