Privately-owned Singaporean hotel owner and operator, Naumi Hotels, has boosted its network in New Zealand through the acquisition of its second property in Queenstown.
The Central Ridge Boutique Hotel is a small bed-and-breakfast style property with 14 rooms, featuring a mixture of balcony-access, garden patio access and two equipped for accessible needs. A phased renovation to bring the rooms to the standard of the Naumi brand will take place in the coming months, with no interruption planned to impact guests throughout.
Located around a 15-minute drive to Queenstown Airport, the hotel is close to the town centre, with rooms overlooking the mountain ranges and adjacent gardens. A lake ideal for swimming is located around 300 metres away. Additional facilities include a guest lounge, ski storage facilities, sauna and dedicated room for breakfast daily.
Naumi Hotels CEO Gaurang Jhunjhnuwala said the signing of a second hotel in Queenstown cements the brand’s commitment to expanding the Naumi brand in New Zealand.
“We are immensely proud to have secured this deal which will increase our brand awareness in the South Island and further bolster the Group’s growth in major cities around the world.”
“This is an exciting time to be in the South Island – one of our foremost priorities is to improve guest satisfaction at our hotels through a range of key initiatives to be introduced over the coming months,” added Naumi Hotels Australia and New Zealand Chief Operating Officer, Chris McIntosh.
“Having two hotels within close proximity now gives us the competitive advantage to provide our guests with more options while increasing synergies in achieving business and operational excellence.”
Naumi’s latest acquisition comes just weeks after its first presence was established in the city following the purchase of The Dairy Private Hotel. Its latest addition takes the group’s management portfolio to seven properties across Singapore, New Zealand and Australia.
