Time is running out for the hotel industry’s interior designers to submit entries of their best work for the first-annual Paul Davis Hotel Design Award.
Entries for the new accolade will serve as a celebratory gesture toward the professional life and befit the legacy of Paul Davis, who was known for making colleagues feel good about what they had achieved with every piece of completed work via his highly personable disposition.
Submissions will need to meet entry criteria for our panel of esteemed judges to assess. Our inaugural Paul Davis Hotel Design Award judges are:
– David Seargeant: former Event Hospitality and Entertainment Limited CEO and Managing Director.
– Graham Wackett: former Managing Director and CEO of Southern Pacific Hotel Corporation, Managing Director Travelodge Australia and Board Member of Taronga Conservation Society Australia.
– Leone Lorrimer: for 30 years, Lorrimer has been a presence in the architecture and design profession. This included executive director roles with two international practices. She is also a judge for the Architecture Masterprize (USA) and the Inde Awards.
Once judging has completed, the winner will be recognised and bestowed with the award during AHICE 2019, which is due to take place at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne from 1-2 May.
Entries close on Thursday 11 April at 5pm.
