Former HM Award-winning Australian General Manager of the Year, Clinton Farley, has begun a new role as General Manager at the Stamford Plaza Auckland.
Farley was most recently the General Manager at Radisson on Flagstaff Gardens Melbourne, the Kiwi native returns home to Aotearoa after six years overseas and holds over two decades overall industry experience.
In addition to Radisson, Farley has been part of opening teams for Hilton and has also served on multiple industry boards, including as a Councillor for Tourism Accommodation Australia’s Victoria chapter. He also acted as an advisor on Accommodation Policy for the Victoria Tourism Industry Council.
Humanitarian work is also another key element to Farley’s hotel industry background, as he continues to serve concurrently as Director of Hotel Engagement for Soap Aid – an initiative which works to improve hygiene standards of those less fortunate through the repurposing of unused hotel soaps and sanitary products.
