Savills Global Head of Hotels, George Nicholas, says he is confident 2019 will be another stellar year for the hotel sales market globally.
Speaking exclusively to HM at the 2019 Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) in Los Angeles this week (Jan 28-30), Nicholas revealed the market sentiment was positive and on the back of USD$36 billion in transactions in the United States alone during 2018, expectations were high for a similar year in 2019.
On a global level, Nicholas said solid demand remained for Asia, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The warmer regions remained a hot commodity, with investors seeking out the “sun and beach” properties once more.
