The first of four towers in the new ‘Ruby Collection’ development on the Gold Coast has opened to guests today, following nearly two years in construction.
Ruby Apartments consists of 243 serviced apartments over 30 storeys in configurations of one, two and three-bedrooms. The property also features ground floor units and sky suites for those eager to take in the expansive views on offer from up high.
The new addition to the Gold Coast skyline promotes a five-star experience aimed at families. Each apartment has been designed with an emphasis on space and features a gentle teal and rose gold colour scheme to reflect the glitter strip’s nearby ocean and hinterland.
Each apartment offers a full kitchen, lounge and dining area along with a bedroom with ensuite. Technology features prominently in the form of USB charging ports, Bluetooth speakers, free wi-fi and access to a digital concierge.
The property describes its front-desk service staff not as team members, but as Ruby Ambassadors, saying their roles “will be multi-faceted, enabling them to better understand guests and offer a more personalised service.”
“It’s been a long ride to get to this point, but the finished product is looking amazing,” Ruby Apartments CEO David Brook said.
Final furnishings on some floors are still being completed as of opening day on 05 November, 2018, however this will take place behind the scenes, with no guests accommodated on any floors still requiring furniture.
