Last night, the Premier of South Australia, The Hon Jay Weatherill and Port Adelaide Premiership player, Chad Cornes joined Quest CEO, Zed Sanjana to officially open Quest Port Adelaide, located at 36 North Parade.
Sanjana said he was delighted to formally open Quest Port Adelaide, the company’s sixth property in South Australia.
“Boasting over 7000 industrial and commercial enterprises in the area and strong growth in the health care, defence, education and training, transport and retail industries, Port Adelaide is an ideal location for our sixth Quest property in South Australia.
“We have the utmost confidence in our Franchisees Daniel and Gustavo, and the future success of Quest Port Adelaide,” he said.
Quest Port Adelaide Franchisees, Daniel O’Hare and Gustavo Romero were thrilled to celebrate the opening of Quest Port Adelaide and expressed their gratitude to Quest for its support, and to their hardworking team for ensuring the first period of operation has been a successful one.
“Gustavo and I were working as Learning and Development Managers for Quest, training new Franchisees on operating a Quest Apartment Hotel business. During this time, it became apparent that being a Quest Franchisee was an excellent opportunity for us, particularly the benefits of managing a successful business and being your own boss,” O’Hare said.
“We are so excited to be officially opening Quest Port Adelaide today. It is such an amazing opportunity, now and for the future, to be part of the city’s largest major development in 45 years, revitalising a once thriving commercial and social hub of the state. Thank you so much to Zed Sanjana, Premier Weatherill and Chad Cornes for joining us to celebrate this momentous occasion,” he said.
South Australian Premier, Jay Weatherill, welcomed Quest’s investment in South Australia and said it was an endorsement of the state’s growing tourism industry.
“This exciting project represents a vote of confidence in South Australia. It is further evidence, bricks and mortar evidence, that Port Adelaide has a bright future and that our visitor economy is thriving,
“This is a striking piece of architecture and a nice addition to the immediate surroundings. This new building anticipates the strong growth set to occur in Port Adelaide – especially in sectors like health care, defence, education and training, transport and retail,” Weatherill said.
Located at 36 North Parade, Port Adelaide, the property is within walking distance of the South Australian Maritime Museum, National Railway Museum and the South Australian Aviation Museum, with easy access to Osborne, West Lakes and the Techport precinct.
Developed by the Smith Group, Quest Port Adelaide features 103 studio, one and two bedroom apartments. Guests have access to onsite car parking, gymnasium and conference room facilities.
