Jupiters Gold Coast launched its freshest new restaurant Garden Kitchen and Bar on Wednesday night (Jan 20) with an exclusive celebration on the venue’s spacious outdoor deck.
The early-evening affair exuded coastal elegance as guests enjoyed a breathtaking display of nature and design; the sun glistening through the trees as it descended below the horizon, transforming the venue’s spacious new deck into a hub of sophistication and style.
A plethora of celebrity guests were in attendance including Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich (The Bachelor), popular lifestyle and fashion bloggers Tash Sefton and Elle Ferguson (They All Hate Us), The Daily Edition’s Tom Williams, and model and Channel [V] presenter Carissa Walford.
The Star Entertainment Group Managing Director – Queensland, Geoff Hogg, said the launch of Garden Kitchen and Bar was yet another significant step in the property’s $345 million transformation.
“Tonight was a great opportunity for us to showcase the venue and provide a glimpse of what’s to come,” Hogg said.
“We’ve received some fantastic feedback from guests so far, with many overwhelmed by the venue’s impressive modern fit-out and light-filled design.
“From the communal dining area and semi-private dining room, to hero features such as the open kitchen, 13-metre indoor bar, and sundrenched deck overlooking the property’s expansive lawn area and lush tropical gardens – the versatility of the space and its connection to nature ensures every experience is unique.”
Guests were greeted on arrival with the restaurant’s signature cocktail – the ‘Heavenly’, combining Tanqueray gin and Ketel One Vodka with sweet tasting Malibu, Paraiso Lychee Liqueur, strawberries, lychees, limes and cranberry and apple juice.
A selection of delicious tasting plates showcased the restaurant’s fresh seasonal offering, with guests treated to Mooloolaba spanner crab cakes, hot smoked salmon salad, pacific oysters, the world’s best wagyu sirloin and fresh seasonal fruit paired with crunchy meringue, passionfruit gel and garden mint.
Chart topping duo Matt Prince and Jess Dunbar captivated the crowd with a special guest performance, while Gold Coast acoustic artist Michael Eotvos continued the entertainment throughout the night.
The Garden launch marks another significant milestone for Jupiters, which has already seen remarkable success from its highly popular dining experiences, Kiyomi and Cucina Vivo, launched in December 2014.
When complete, the transformation will include an array of contemporary restaurants and bars and the construction of a new ‘six-star’ luxury all-suite tower, all fully operational in time for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Garden Kitchen and Bar is located on the Ground Level of Jupiters Gold Coast and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, from 7am until late.
