Sydney’s City Tattersall’s Club is planning to build a new hotel in the CBD, opposite Sydney Tower.
Occupying land at 194-204 Pitt Street, the proposal includes the pull down of 196 Pitt St and demolition of rear sections of 194 and 198-200 Pitt St, as well as partial conservation of existing adjoined heritage buildings.
City Tattersall’s Club is investing $178 million on the project and, if it goes ahead, will include a 106-room hotel, club and commercial spaces and 267 residential units.
According to development plans sourced by Travel Daily, the new development will have two function rooms, a day spa, fitness centre, restaurants abd bar, café and entertainment zone.
Club facilities include a lap pool, snooker room and dance room. The proposed tower will be up to 168m high.
