Ray White’s Asia Pacific Director of Hotels and Leisure, Andrew Jolliffe, has claimed the major individual honours at the annual Ray White International Awards on the Gold Coast on Monday (Aug 3).
The Ray White International Awards, attended by over 2000 delegates from a number of countries including Australia, China, New Zealand, the U.S.A. and Indonesia, were held at the Gold Coast Convention Centre during the Ray White Group’s inaugural Connect Conference.
Ray White, the largest Real Estate and Property group in Australasia with over 8000 employees spread across 1000 individual offices internationally, held its International Awards Conference on the Gold Coast over the weekend with guest presenters including News Corp Chief Lachlan Murdoch and Dominoes CEO Don Meij.
At the Gold Coast Convention Centre on Monday night Jolliffe was announced at the Number One Agent Internationally for gross settled fees after a year which has included the exclusive sale of The Newport Arms, the Woolloomooloo Bay Hotel and the recent engagement to sell Eureka Fund’s 200-room Crowne Plaza hotel on Terrigal Beach.
Jolliffe also took out the Director’s Cup Award and Ray White Hotels Australia was judged the top marketer in the commercial group.
“It’s been a very rewarding 12 months for all members of the team and we have embraced the opportunity both the market and our valued clients have afforded us,” Jolliffe said.
On receiving the International Number 1 Agent ranking within the Ray White Group, Jolliffe said: “It’s a humbling experience to enjoy receipt of such an award in a 100 year old company with annual sales in excess of $30billion. The talent pool here is scarily good, and the collective drive to succeed most clear… it’s an intoxicating environment.”
Ray White Director and CEO Dan White said it had been another outstanding year for Jolliffe, with Ray White Hotels Australia chalking up a number of impressive hotel sales including 16 in a 10 week period during the first half of 2015.
“The accomplishments of Andrew and the Ray White Hotels Australia team this year have been fantastic, with numerous noteworthy sales throughout the Asia Pacific Region,” White said.
“The volume of sales in such a concentrated time is unprecedented and there is more to come with a number of other hotel deals in the pipeline.”
