Marriott International’s new President and Managing Director of Asia-Pacific, Craig S Smith, has arrived in the region at more than an opportune time.
Smith, who replaced Simon F Cooper following his retirement in June, arrives in the region just as Marriott finds itself in the middle of its largest expansion across Australasia in the company’s history, with new hotels set to open from Auckland to Perth.
